Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to donations made through the Donate page of this website, processed via Razorpay.

2. Nature of Donations

Donations to Lokmanya Tilak Ganesh Utsav 2026 are voluntary charitable contributions. Once processed, funds are allocated toward organising the Utsav — including Bhojan Prasad, seva initiatives, blood donation camps, and event infrastructure — and are therefore generally non-refundable, except in the circumstances described below.

3. Eligible Refund Circumstances

We will review and process a refund request if:

• You were charged more than once for the same donation due to a technical or payment gateway error.
• An incorrect amount was charged due to a system or transaction error.
• Payment was deducted from your account but the donation was not recorded as successful on our end.

4. How to Request a Refund

Contact us within 7 days of the transaction with your Razorpay payment ID / order ID, the donation amount, and a brief description of the issue:

5. Processing Time

Eligible refund requests are reviewed within 3–5 business days. Once approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay and typically reflect within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds are not provided for a change of mind after a successful, correctly-processed donation. In the unlikely event that the Utsav itself is cancelled in its entirety, we will contact all donors directly regarding the option of a refund or carrying the contribution forward to the following year's celebration.
