A 40,000-var, 11-day Ganeshotsav in Surat, inspired by Maharashtra's grandest Ganesh traditions, rooted in Lokmanya Tilak's mission of Swaraj — free for every devotee, powered by community.
Countdown to Ganesh Chaturthi — Monday, 14 September 2026
Honouring the past, while building a Ganeshotsav for every community, today.
In 1893, Lokmanya Tilak started the Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav — turning a private, home-bound worship into a public festival where every caste and class could stand together as one. This Utsav carries that vision forward: Gujarat's first Ganeshotsav at this scale, 100% free and 100% eco-friendly, open to every devotee, regardless of background.
"Ek Utsav, Ek Bhavna, Ek Parampara" — One Festival, One Feeling, One Tradition.
Morning and evening Aarti will be streamed live throughout the Utsav, so devotees who can't reach the ground can still take part from home. Streaming links go live closer to Ganesh Chaturthi.
From parking to VVIP Bhojan Prasad, every zone is mapped, marked and signposted — designed so devotees, families and the elderly can navigate the ground with ease.
Every day pairs two emerging artists with one celebrated performer — a stage built for new talent. The full lineup is still under wraps.
Orphanages, old-age homes and devotees with disabilities can request free transport to and from the utsav — because darshan should never depend on ability to travel.
